First Digital Technologist
In the 80’s, founded Metro Imaging Systems and was first to introduce newly invented digital technology: the Sharp JX300, JX450 and JX600 digital color scanners and the JX720 color ink jet printer. First to create digital color bulletins with images and print in full color using Macintosh and Adobe Software.
First No-processor ACH Solution
Processing ACH is expensive. We created the first ACH processing solution that avoids expensive solutions. Our technology saves corporations up to 25% savings on bulk ACH processing!
First Low Cost SWIFT Payment Platform
Co-created the first low-cost SWIFT international payment processing platform for MT101 and MT9xx messages utilizing SWIFT light processing and BizTalk Server MT validation.
Semper Paratus!
Always Ready! Passed U.S. Coast Guard RMA school and learned Morse code in 5 months to 21 Words Per Minute Send and Receive. Received Top Secret / Crypto security clearance. Served aboard a U.S. Icebreaker and traveled to both the Arctic and Antarctica. Search and rescue communications coordination and dispatch at U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Astoria. High Seas radio communication and SARs monitoring. Recruited by the CIA due to level of Code capabilities.
Expedia
Subcontracted for another IT Resource Company. According to the Expedia System Administrator, our SharePoint development solution was the first one that met the SA’s requirements. Previous SharePoint solutions were discarded prior to our solution because the failed to meet SA database call requirements. Proud that we could work with the customer and the System Admins to deliver a business critical SharePoint solution that satisfied stringent SA requirements as well.
AT&T Management Rating
A 2009 Watson Wyatt Talent Building 360 degree Anonymous Survey rated the IT Dev Management style of QuixTec founder, Richard within the top 1/2 of 1% of all manager and employee ratings out of 75,000 employees surveyed at AT&T. Click here to read the review and learn more.

Dec 2017: Received first Microsoft certification. BizTalk Server is middleware that is used for transformation and exchange of information between disparate systems.

Received CIO Review 2020 Top 10 Promising SharePoint Provider Award. Also received Top 50 Promising Microsoft Provider Award the following year.
Dr. Ruth McFarland
According to Dr. Ruth McFarland, who Richard enjoyed giving a hard time to during college Anatomy & Physiology classes. According to Ms. McFarland, he is the first student to pass her A&P class with a perfect score. Still proud of that achievement. She’s tough! More importantly, I still like her even though, as I was keeping my perfect scores secret from classmates, she threw me under the bus and outed me. Thought I’d be lynched that day!
