Forms: Split sending and sharing entry point

Microsoft Forms, Microsoft 365 Experts

From Microsoft Corporation
Technical Bulletin MC335638 · Published Feb 24, 2022

Message Summary

We are making it easier to share a Form with a collaborator or with respondents by clearly separating out the sharing process.

This is a follow up to MC24233. Based on feedback, we made the decision to make additional changes before we proceeded with the full rollout. We are now ready to move forward and apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your feedback and patience.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 79450

When this will happen:

This rollout will begin in late February and we expect the rollout to be completed by late March.

How this will affect your organization:

Previously, sharing a Microsoft Form with respondents and with collaborators was initiated from the same share button.

This update will make it so that the the button for sharing the Form with a collaborator will be separate from where you would initiate sending the Form to respondents.
