New Feature: Change in header behavior for modern SharePoint sites and hub sites

MC207968, Stay Informed, Published date: Mar 28, 2020

FROM MICROSOFT CORPORATION

We are changing how modern SharePoint site and hub site navigation headers function when a user scrolls up and down a page in a browser.

  • We’ll be gradually rolling this out to Targeted Release customers in early April and Standard Release customers in mid-April.
  • The rollout will be completed by late April.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 62754.How does this affect me?

With this change, modern SharePoint site and hub site headers will shrink when a user scrolls down in a browser, both desktop and mobile versions. When the user scrolls back up, the site headers will return to full size. What do I need to do to prepare for this change?

You might consider updating your user documentation and training materials.
