We’re updating the Microsoft Authenticator app user interface to show full screen account views for Android devices. This feature was released for iOS at the beginning of March (MC205513).

  • We rolled this out to all iOS customers in mid-March 2020.
  • We’ll be rolling this out for Android customers in mid-May 2020.

Microsoft Authenticator app helps your users sign-in to their accounts if you require two-factor verification.

With this change, when your users click anywhere on the account tile, their account will expand into a full screen view.

On the full screen view, users will see their One-Time Password code. Additionally, they will be able to enable password less phone sign-in. All other regular actions will remain unchanged, such as approving a notification, adding a new account, or interacting with settings.
What do I need to do to prepare for this change?

To try this sooner, your users can join our Public Beta. The link is in the Google Play store description.

You might consider updating your user training and notifying your help desk. Download and install Microsoft Authenticator.
