From Microsoft Corporation

Your users will soon be able to search in folders and shared libraries in OneDrive for Business and use a dropdown to pick where they want to search.

This message is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 57098.

When this will happen

We will begin rolling this out in early September and expect the rollout to be complete by end of October. How this will affect your organization

Using a dropdown in the search box in OneDrive for Business, users will be able to choose where they want to search. Users can search their own files in OneDrive for Business as well as shared files that they have access to across the tenant, including shared libraries.
